VINEYARD & CELLAR DOOR
The estate features a mature vineyard, with Pinot Noir, Cabernet and Shiraz grapes. The vines were planted by the Franciscan Brothers of the former ‘boys home’ in the late 1930s and continue to be used for producing wine. Whilst wine is no longer made on the premises, Morning Star Estate still carries house labelled wines. The cellar door located next to the estate restaurant opens for tastings from 10-4 Saturday and Sunday. Groups of 10 or more require bookings, private tastings are also available Phone: 03 9787 7760.
